**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

The Partnership Development Manager aims to cultivate and nurture significant external business relationships to drive sustainable growth by streamlining access to our products through a variety of partnerships. Working alongside the Manager Partnerships and Retail team, the focus is on identifying and assessing new potential partners that enhance customer engagement, facilitate product accessibility, and bolster market share. Responsibilities include achieving acquisition targets for designated partnerships, advocating for IAG at senior levels within prospective partners to uncover market prospects, fostering and managing external relationships to ensure a robust partner portfolio, devising and implementing comprehensive plans to onboard partners effectively, crafting partner affinity offers to enrich relationships and attract new clientele, negotiating commercial agreements with partners, and actively monitoring the business landscape for strategic opportunities and risks.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have experience in the following areas:

- 8+ years experience in business development within relevant industries, adept at identifying and securing opportunities aligned with business targets.
- Proven expertise in planning and executing strategies.
- Highly organized and experienced in large, fast-paced organizations, skilled in prioritizing multiple workstreams to meet deadlines.
- Commercially minded with a track record of managing and reconciling large budgets and supporting processes.
- Confident presentation and communication, capable of garnering support from senior and cross-functional operational and leadership teams.
- Possesses strong business and operational acumen, capable of identifying and implementing process improvements across diverse stakeholders.
