As Brand Partnerships Manager, this role is responsible for support and implementation of BNZ's new partnerships strategy. Reporting to Senior Brand Partnerships Manager, this role is tasked with delivering world-class brand-affinity building partnerships and activations, that connect with our colleagues, customers, and wider NZ.

**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

We sat down with our Senior Brand Partnerships Manager (who you'd report to) and she let us know the following about the tūranga (role);

A new partnerships strategy and portfolio has been created, and this role will be working on bringing it to life, to work with the wider Brand Partnerships team and key stakeholders to deliver world class activations. We have a varied and exciting activations calendar planned for the next year where the focus will be on building authenticity and relevance in each of the partnerships.

**What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?**

This is a brand new team, with a new strategy - it's an exciting time for BNZ, and this role will be at the forefront of taking reins to do something new (and visible) that builds brand affinity for BNZ through brilliantly activated partnerships.

**What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?**

Paving the way with the wider team The most challenging thing will be keeping up with the pace needed, and getting the right balance of planning and using initiative to get things done to create amazing experiences with our partners, and bringing our colleagues on the journey. It's a role that has a bit of everything, and the right person will excel bringing all the bits together and driving great partnership activations.

**What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?**

We are looking for someone with solid sponsorships/partnership activation experience. You will also have hands on event activation experience and be super familiar with being on the ground project managing.

Additionally you will have;
- 7+ years experience in brand marketing or sponsorship/partnership management in a large complex environment.
- Experience delivering activations and events.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Proven cross-functional project management experience.
- Experience managing external agencies, event vendors, and suppliers to deliver integrated and effective design and activation.
