**Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the Role**:
As the Manager Partnerships and Voice, you will lead and manage the Partnerships and Voice Team to maintain and strengthen partnerships with disabled people and their organisations, including organisations that represent tāngata whaikaha Māori.
You will use information gathered through engagement with disabled people to work across government to shepherd change to policy and operational settings, systems and processes with the aim of enabling disabled people to live good lives.
You will develop and lead a team that builds on the strengths of individuals to deliver results, shape change and contribute to our work programme.
You will work closely with the Group Manager to set the strategic direction and objectives for Whaikaha's Partnership and Voice function and lead the development of strategic relationships within Whaikaha, with key organisations and across government.

**Ko wai koe | About You**:
You will be an experienced people leader with a strong background in coaching, mentoring and developing others to succeed.
Your strong background in developing, delivering, improving and utilising stakeholder engagement and consultation processes will have seen you negotiating outcomes and activities in partnership with organisations in your previous roles.
You will have experience in supporting senior leaders and ideally Ministers, with strong strategic and analytical ability, attention to detail and good written communication skills. You will have the ability to manage high volumes of work to a high standard using effective delegation and work programme management practices and a focus on delivery.
You will be an expert when it comes to relationship management and have an ability to establish rapport, build and maintain relationships at all levels across a wide range of sectors and across organisational boundaries.
You will have successful experience influencing and engaging internal and external stakeholders and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences. You will be collaborative by nature, comfortable with ambiguity and be solutions-focused.
To undertake this role successfully, you will be a disabled person or be able to establish credibility and trust with the disability community, as well as having empathy and an understanding of the unique and diverse experiences of disabled people.

**Salary range**: $117,419.00 - $174,069.00
