About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team in Public Sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused business thinker who is passionate about building authentic senior-level relationships and driving sales of our world-class software products.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing sales strategy across the full SAS portfolio in Public Sector, including software and cloud solutions. You will work closely with other sales professionals, customer advisory teams, and executives to react quickly to highly qualified, high-revenue potential leads.

  • Sell SAS solutions to customers in the Public Sector, highlighting their value proposition and aligning them with enterprise challenges.
  • Stay up-to-date with SAS goals, objectives, applications, hardware platforms, business trends, and industry knowledge to provide expert guidance to customers.
  • Analyze territory dynamics and develop sales plans that relate SAS capabilities to enterprise needs in the Public Sector.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 6+ years' experience in the sales of computer software solutions, with a focus on Public Sector.
  • Ability to initiate and lead sales opportunities, relating technical and business concepts to SAS applications and user needs.
  • Growth mindset, creativity, and a value-based selling approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
