About the Role

Come join our amazing team in Palmerston North.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Planner position. In this role, you will provide a work planning service with responsibility for the effective planning and monitoring of all work within the group. This position provides a support function to the Contract Manager, Maintenance Coordinator & Asset Inspectors.

Preparing and updating rolling 4 month works programmes for all activities within the group in conjunction with Contract Managers, Project Managers and Supervisors.
Ordering materials to ensure they are available to meet the work schedule.
Compiling job packs for the work crews to meet all company, client and statutory requirements, and monitoring completed job packs.
Updating Omexom and client databases as required.
Preparing data for internal and client monthly reporting.
Notifying landowners of relevant visits and works to be carried out.
Monitoring and reporting on progress of work and budgets to managers.
Implementing the Omexom Job Management System (JMS) database and/or MMS.

About you

**To be considered, you will have**:
Trade Certificate or Administrator Certificate.
Sound industry knowledge.
Good computer skills.
Works well in a team environment
High level of problem-solving skills.
JMS/MMS Database knowledge
The ability to solve problems without impacting workflow.
Experience in reading, understanding and reviewing network drawings.
