**About Whanganui District**

Whanganui City has been growing in population and businesses in recent years with the buzz of new families and represents an incredible lifestyle location - close to New Zealand's best outdoor experiences in bush, cycle trails, river and skiing. The city is known for being welcoming, strong in schools and has the range of arts and culture one would expect of a modern New Zealand city.

If you are moving from outside of the region, we offer support and guidance to make sure the move is as smooth as can be. Want to go for a coffee to pick someone's brain on what it is like to be a local? Done Need to talk to some parents about local schooling? Sorted. We understand that making a move can feel like a big decision, so we are here to share the load.
