Fire and Emergency New Zealand is a Crown Entity established on 1 July 2017 under the Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act 2017. **Mō tēnei tūranga - About the role**
As an Executive Assistant to the DCE People you’ll focus on providing a first-rate support service. You’ll be organising their busy schedule and acting as a first point of contact on their behalf. Your flair for organisation, time management, communication and stakeholder engagement will shine, as you efficiently manage a high workload and a busy diary and respond to enquiries
- essentially doing whatever’s needed.
This is a Wellington based role with flexibility to work from home and the centrally based office.
**The salary range for this role is $81,524 - $90,583 depending on your skills and experience.**

- Experienced at providing exceptional support at an executive level, so your professionalism and adaptability will match this position’s importance, diversity and pace
- Experience in expertly managing and influencing on behalf of your DCE
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team within the wider EA and OCE leadership team network to deliver exceptional support across our busy ELT
- The ability to demonstrate initiative and a positive approach to problem solving
