Our client delivers a fully integrated solution for customers that includes freight forwarding, clearance, warehouse, distribution and value-added services, they are one of Australasia's largest privately owned international freight forwarding companies with an extensive global network, delivering worldwide trade lanes.


As the Accounting Services Manager, this is a key leadership role with a team of 15 delivering accounting, customer invoicing and credit functions in a 'high transaction' environment.

You will take ownership of timely and accurate financial information and business support, ensuring the integrity of the financial systems and processes deliver.


There is plenty of opportunity to add value with streamlining the financial accounting processes and you will be empowered to make efficiency and effectiveness improvements.

There is also a key project of a potential system change planned for 2023/2024 which you will lead for your part of the business.


Reporting to the Group CFO, you will have a key role to play in the delivery of a high-level of service to both external customers and a range of internal stakeholders.

You will be someone who brings energy, commitment and a 'solution-focused' approach that lifts your team to the next level.


It's likely you will have led a shared service, or accounting service function, in an organisation with a high level of transactions, have a strong foundation in accounting knowledge to coach and develop your team, and be IT savvy.

You'll like to be involved rather than sit back and observe and be some with a reputation for solving problems.
