**About the role**:
We’re seeking an experienced and confident Key Account Manager to join the growing team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met whilst hunting for new business.
**Day to day responsibilities**:
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in the building and construction industry.
- Proactively address client issues and concerns, offering effective solutions to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
- Drive business growth by identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities, while also nurturing existing accounts.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to generate sales through resales channels, leveraging your expertise in the sales process.
- Employ strategic thinking and analytical skills to develop and execute effective account management plans.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Site Managers of clients, fostering a cohesive team approach to project success.
- Undertake essential cold-calling activities to expand client base and drive revenue growth.
**About you**:
- A hunter adept at securing new clients.
- Extensive experience in the building and construction industry, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics and client needs.
- Proficiency in sales techniques, with a proven ability to drive revenue and meet targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with strong negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, capable of working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
