About Us

ARDEX New Zealand is a supplier of Chemical Construction products. We are a market leader in membrane roofing and a centre of excellence for all waterproofing applications in New Zealand. We also import professional trade products including Tiling, Flooring and the Industrial Coatings which are marketed across multiple channels. The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and proactive National Sales Manager to join our team based in Onehunga, Auckland. You will be responsible for coordinating the National sales and specification team to maximise sales opportunities, providing clear direction and support, developing relationships with the specification sector, and implementing sales strategies for new product launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the National sales and specification team to maximise their impact and effectiveness.
  • Develop relationships to increase ARDEX brand awareness and sales.
  • Implement and manage sales strategies, training programs, and productivity initiatives.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach high-performing sales team members.
  • Ensure sales meet budget levels by area and sector.
  • Organise and execute client presentations and promotional events.
  • Collaborate with the technical manager to fully utilise the training academy.
  • Provide administrative support where required.
  • Manage relationships and general business with key National Accounts
  • Lead the team to a high level of CRM compliance.
  • Lead and coach the team towards new business opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

  • Demonstrated previous experience in leading a in a high-volume sales team, preferably in the manufacturing industry is advantageous, but not essential.
  • A background from within the Construction industry would be advantageous.
  • A Building or Engineering qualification would be advantageous, though not essential.
  • A diligent and confident personable communication approach.
  • High level attention to detail business analytics.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Excellent data entry time management skills.
  • A results-oriented focus on providing great customer service.
  • The ability to travel nationally on a regular basis.
