Our Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Superstar Account Manager for WWNZ.

As the National Account Manager for WWNZ, your role is to drive business development within WWNZ key accounts to deliver sales and financial targets.


Key responsibilities include:

Strategy - How we utilise our resources to improve our business:

  • Develop, maintain and implement strategic account plans for WWNZ
  • Develop and implement promotional program in line with company strategy and guardrails
  • Develop a customer profile, including cost modelling to maximise sales performance within key financial measures
  • Identify tactical opportunities to drive incremental growth for the GF product portfolio
  • Engage key internal stakeholders in management of key customers as appropriate
Operational Effectiveness - Improving the mechanics of how we conduct our business:

  • Execute with excellence the various product, pricing, promotional and category strategies of the business.
  • Management of forecasting, demand reviews, accruals, Promax and other promotional tools, as appropriate
  • Conduct regular field visits with FMM to ensure full understanding of execution and ensure consistent one GF team approach to customers
Financial - Understanding the true cost of conducting our business

  • Achieve all financial targets, including volume and margin
  • Manage expenses within allocated budgets
  • Optimise trade spend in line with budget to maximize ROI
  • Oversee and review promotional accruals system, including communication of any anomalies to the business
Customer / Consumer - Developing trusting and confidence with our internal and external customers

  • Develop and align internally and externally on joint business plan to ensure key projects land successfully to drive business results.
  • Conduct regular business and category reviews, as appropriate
  • Review promotional effectiveness across all categories to maximize results for both GF and the customer
  • Lead and manage the NPD process, both internally with GF stakeholders and externally with key customers
About You

  • FMCG Account Management within WWNZ
  • Able to present strong commercial arguments
  • Negotiating ability


Analytical
  • BW, IRI, financial reports are some of the tools they will need to use


Computer skills
  • Excel and Power point in particular
  • Ability to influence internally & develop internal partnerships
  • Organised, good time management skills
  • Ability to deliver business case scenarios and execute on business decisions
  • Growth mindset
