**The opportunity - Te tūranga**

In this leadership role as GM - Sales reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for developing, driving, and executing the strategy to accelerate digital revenue. The focus will be on
- Leading the successful delivery of TVNZ's commercial outcomes across all TV and digital platforms and revenue streams in line with the agreed strategic goals and operating plans.
- Driving the successful planning and delivery of advertising revenue across our identified preferential client and agency base.
- Driving strategy, planning, and execution of commercial opportunities across TVNZ's platforms and foster a culture of collaboration across TVNZ
- Leading our revenue strategies to enable us to deliver on our revenue targets and growth aspirations.
- Contributing to TVNZ's goal to be a sustainable business with positive EBITDAF from FY28 and beyond

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the
- Sophisticated internal and external stakeholder management and influencing skills and proven ability to influence and lead teams in an environment of competing interests and limited resources
- Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability leading high performing teams
- Exceptional strategic sales delivery and successful revenue generation in multimillion dollar environments, and extensive commercial experience at a strategic level
- Extensive experience managing large commercial partnerships with agency and advertising partners
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build internal and external relationships ensuring co-operation across functions and up and down the hierarchy. Able to represent TVNZ at a senior level externally and gain commitment
