Job Description

This role involves working with claimants to understand their past experiences and delivering the best possible outcomes. The role also requires providing timely responses to requests for information and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing claims against the Historic Claims assessment framework and providing recommendations to support decision making.
  • Providing information to claimants in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent outcomes for claimants.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with the Privacy Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to empathise with clients and understand their needs.
  • Capacity to interpret and manage large volumes of information.
  • Commitment to cultural responsiveness and incorporating tikanga Māori into our service delivery.
