Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Claimant Support Specialist. As part of our Historic Claims team, you'll work closely with claimants to provide end-to-end management of their claims.

  • You'll be the primary point of contact for claimants, helping them through the Historic Claims process and ensuring they receive positive outcomes.
  • You'll have a deep understanding of tikanga Maori and te reo Maori, and be able to communicate effectively with claimants from diverse backgrounds.
  • You'll work collaboratively with technical experts to facilitate input and ensure claimants receive the support they need.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Talk with claimants about their experiences in care and provide feedback on the outcome of their claims.
  2. Support, mentor and guide other staff members.
