About the Opportunity
As an Evaluative Thinking Lead with the Royal Commission of Inquiry, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional evaluative thinking, thought leadership, and strategic advice to support Commissioners in achieving their goals. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will lead a high-performing team to develop and deliver a work programme that meets required deliverables. This includes supporting strategic decision-making and providing quality advice to Commissioners and Senior Leaders across the Inquiry.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of the work programme, ensuring it reflects the required deliverables and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize research and policy initiatives.
- Provide strategic advice to Commissioners and Senior Leaders on complex issues, leveraging your expertise in evaluative thinking and strategic planning.

Requirements
- A strong track record of leading research and/or policy teams to deliver complex work programmes within demanding timeframes and budgetary parameters.
- Proven ability to lead advisory, research, and policy professionals to ensure timely and quality delivery of research and policy products.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution within the public service, including project management and team leadership.
