Innovative Education Developer for Inclusive Sports

About the Role

We are seeking an innovative education developer to lead and execute a resource development project that will transform the way we work within the Intellectual or Learning Disability community.

This is a fixed-term role for 12 months, with a salary of $88,000 - $108,000 per annum, pro-rata based on 32 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a background in either education settings, educational resource development, and child development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research existing educational material across the sector and lead collaborative working groups to develop quality, fit-for-purpose learning content.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current materials and identify gaps in resources for various learning settings.
  • Host Content Development Workshops to define content development needs and opportunities for respective target audiences.
  • Facilitate discussions, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to gather insights and foster collaboration.
  • Design and write learning solutions that grow confidence and capability in delivering sporting opportunities to people with an intellectual disability.
  • Provide guidance and training for teachers, parents, and coaches on the implementation of blended learning strategies.
