**Āu Mahi | What You Will Do**

**Mōu | Who You Are**

You will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or related field (NZQA Level 7) and ideally a Prince2/MSP/LEAN practitioner qualification or equivalent. You will have considerable, senior level experience in IT management or have worked closely with IT in a business change leadership role, including experience in programme, project or product management.

Key to your success will be your deep understanding and recent hands-on experience in a large organisation (preferably tertiary education) promoting and embedding new ways of Agile working, including the effective use of tools and techniques such as JIRA, Confluence, Kanban boards, scrums and daily stand-ups.

You will also have:

- Solid understanding of core ITIL practices - e.g. Incident, Change, Problem
- Experience of leading an operational IT unit with multiple teams via several direct reports
- Experience of outsourcing ICT services, and managing and integrating the delivery of services by outsourcers
- Experience of delivering ICT services to a Service Level Agreement with an internal or external customer
- Solid understanding of business needs and customer focus beyond the technical/technology aspects
- Excellent communication, group presentation and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to write and deliver succinct business proposals and plans
- Financial literacy to forecast and manage team and departmental budgets and forecasting
- Solid experience operating in M365 and particularly leveraging Teams, Sharepoint Online for collaboration.
- Effective motivational, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- An ongoing commitment to own professional development, including keeping up-to-date with relevant industry developments and appropriate training
- Competency in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga is an advantage.
