Job Overview

We're seeking a talented Inside Account Manager to join our sales team. As a key player, you will be responsible for fostering relationships with existing Accounting & Bookkeeping Partners, driving growth and development through strategic business planning and sales initiatives.

You will work closely with partners to identify opportunities, develop business plans and implement strategies to achieve mutual success.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage and prioritize partner relationships to optimize sales and revenue growth
  2. Identify and pursue sales opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline
  3. Develop and implement business plans to drive partner engagement and sales performance
  4. Participate in Xero sales events and drive partner attendance to increase visibility and opportunities
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Xero features and functionality through regular training and updates
  6. Meet and exceed activity targets, including sales performance and partner certification
  7. Ensure accurate and timely recording of partner interactions in Salesforce
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in inbound phone and email sales with a track record of success
  • Passion for the online accounting industry and its potential for growth
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport quickly
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow up on commitments
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on ownership and accountability
  • Initiative and self-motivation, with a willingness to take calculated risks
  • Knowledge of accounting products and practices, with experience working with clients
  • Long-term relationship management experience
