Role Overview:

The Business Development and Marketing Manager will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our company. This position requires someone with 5 years of experience in construction-based business development in New Zealand, a strong network of contacts within the industry, and the ability to manage marketing and sales independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies and plans by identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Map potential customers through online tools like LinkedIn
  • Nurture relationships with existing customers and research prospects to increase the client base
  • Write business proposals and present these to potential customers
  • Provide specialist advice on products and services sold, negotiate contracts, and draft reviews

Requirements:

  • 5 years of construction-based business development experience in New Zealand
  • Strong network of contacts within the New Zealand construction industry
  • Ability to manage marketing and sales independently
  • Experience building a company's brand online
  • Experience developing sales and marketing plans and strategies
