About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to lead national sales initiatives and drive revenue growth across New Zealand. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and leading a dynamic sales team to expand the company's footprint in the civil infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute a national sales strategy to drive business growth in the civil sector.
  2. Identify and secure new business opportunities, including major tenders and strategic partnerships.
  3. Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring targets are met across multiple branches.
  4. Engage with key stakeholders in government, utilities, and private sector organisations to position the company as a preferred provider.
  5. Monitor market trends and provide insights on emerging opportunities, innovations, and competitive positioning.
  6. Ensure commercial success by overseeing pricing strategies, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  7. Manage budgets and business development expenditures to align with company objectives.

About You
  1. Proven experience in business development or sales leadership within the civil, infrastructure, water, or construction industries.
  2. Strong strategic mindset - able to identify opportunities, navigate complex sales cycles, and develop winning strategies.
  3. Executive-level communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  4. Experience managing tenders, contracts, and key client accounts within the infrastructure sector.
  5. Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing sales team.
  6. Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
