The Forensic Coordination Service is a critical part of our organisation, playing a key role in coordinating the safe management of tangata whaikaha and providing a pathway for offenders with an intellectual disability away from the criminal justice and mental health systems towards more appropriate disability services.

About the role:

This is a unique opportunity to join our Forensic Coordination Service team and contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives for service development within the Forensic Coordination Service.

You will be responsible for handling a range of tasks, including communication, meeting coordination, travel arrangement management, and legislative compliance. You will also be required to uphold privacy and confidentiality, and adhere to policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • High level of coordination and administrative support experience within a complex environment
  • Strong knowledge of administrative processes, systems and technology
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation would be an advantage
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret complex documents
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
