Mo te tima / About our team: The Forensic Coordination Service – Intellectual Disability coordinates the safe management of tangata whaikaha and provides a pathway for offenders with an intellectual disability away from the criminal justice and mental health systems towards more appropriate disability services.
Mo te tunga / About the role: As the Administrator, Forensic Coordination Service you will play a pivotal role in providing high quality administrative assistance to the Forensic Coordination Service team.
The role involves assisting the Manager of Forensic Coordination Service in general administration, planning, and the implementation of initiatives for service development within the Forensic Coordination Service.
You will handle communications, coordinating meetings, managing travel arrangements, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
This role emphasizes upholding privacy and confidentiality and requires diligent adherence to policies and procedures.
This is a fixed term or secondment role ending 5 September 2025.
This role can be located in either Cambridge, Wellington or Christchurch.
Ou pumanawatanga | What you bring: Significant experience providing high level coordination and administrative support within a complex environment.Strong knowledge of administrative processes, systems and technology.In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation (Privacy Act 2020 and Health Information Privacy Code 2020) would be an advantage.
The ability to read, understand and interpret complex documents, including financial, numerical and information.Strong relationship management skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
