**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

Responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic direction of recruitment services across Te Whatu Ora to attract top talent and deliver specialised recruitment solutions while fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. This includes:

- Setting the strategic direction for all recruitment and working with the lead of the recruitment operations to deliver the strategy.
- Delivering in areas of specialised recruitment
- Establishing the employer brand
- Measuring the increasing in workforce from the direction and initiatives
- Being a through leader for adopting equitable recruitment practices that make us employers of choice for Māori, Pacific peoples, and disabled people.

**Mōu | About you**

You will Devdlop the recruitment strategy including the short-term and long-term plans for Te Whatu Ora and align initiatives and polices to support this, set the required capability and resources, channels, and people to deliver on this and the measure which will show success. Collaborate with the operational recruitment teams to determine what is national led and locally delivered in recruitment, and how a recruitment team can provide a service whilst also being an economic unit. Leads a team who provide guidance and support to hiring managers and stakeholders on talent acquisition. Ensures the development, maintenance, and integrity of high-quality recruitment data, information, and data analytics

- Proven experience in talent acquisition (source and attract) and recruitment, including developing strong talent sourcing pipelines
- Experience with aligning talent acquisition strategies with the organisation's business objectives.
- Experience in employer branding initiatives and promoting the organisation as an employer of choice.
- Have data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse recruitment metrics and optimise recruitment processes.
- Experience in giving meaningful effect to the expectations outlined in Te Tiriti o Waitangi in their position(s)/at a leadership level.
