**Your Impact**:
We are currently looking for an experienced Category and Commercial Strategy professional to join the team in this newly created role. As the **Head of Category and Commercial Strategy **for the Better Drinks company you will provide strategic leadership by driving the mid-term plan category and commercial growth agenda by ensuring category and commercial growth drivers are clearly defined and supported with annual plans and levers to deliver sustainable revenue growth across the portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead Annual Commercial Plan (ACP) process with cross functional team that is embedded in category thinking and ensures delivery of growth for retailer & the business through initiatives that deliver base growth and innovation
- Lead category reviews, providing category insights that will deliver core business growth (distribution, share of shelf) & acceptance of NPD (selling story)
- Lead the development of the segmentation model within the route and HORECA business.
- Lead development of the Picture of Success (PiCOS) encompassing core range and customer centric key business drivers by segment.
- Lead team to develop tools that provide sales team with best opportunity to drive category & business growth (Execution measures, Nielsen Connect Express, Retailers Shopper data)
- Develop a strategic revenue management framework to grow NSV/L and GCSC/l encompassing all levers of SRM (list price simplification, pay for performance trading terms, trade spend optimization, pack/price mix).
- Develop and embed strategic category thinking & category drivers into business by leading the development and roll out of our Category Growth Strategy.
- Identify long term & short term white space opportunities for non-alcohol categories based on strong understand of category and shopper trends & metrics
- Lead the development of, and champion the 3yr mid-term plan channel and category growth agenda.
- Manage the PLI relationship ensuring sufficient support for the PLI growth agenda is delivered.

**About you**:
As an outstanding leader, you will have significant experience in category management and commercial strategy to drive growth, together with proven Leadership and influencing capability across business functions at Senior Management level. We are a tightknit team, so you will not be afraid to meet the team at our in-house bar or share a coffee from our premium Allpress coffee machine.
- Solid FMCG Experience - across at least two functions sales, marketing, category, space planning
- Strong stakeholder influencing and engagement skills
- In depth understanding of consumer and shopper principles
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skill set
