Plant Engineer

We are seeking a suitably experienced and motivated **Plant Engineer** to join the Pulp & Woodprep Team at our Kinleith Mill, Tokoroa.
**About the role**:
As a Plant Engineer you will be providing manufacturing, operations, process and maintenance expertise and support to the Operations Team to successfully ensure plant production, reliability and business objectives are met. Reporting to the Area Manager you will need excellent communication skills and be able to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the business in order to succeed in this role.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure conformance to EHS&R standards, ensuring best practices and processes are in place
- Developing and maintaining production systems such as KOPs and SOPs
- Production planning, shutdown planning
- Process problem solving
- Managing costs
- Increasing capability of the people
- Developing a continuous improvement culture using competitive manufacturing principles

**You will bring to the role**:
- A Bachelor of Chemical/Process Engineering preferably or similar relevant qualification.
- Ideally 2+ years operational experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
- Be practical and innovative, with good attention to detail skills.
- Enjoy working in a team environment.
