**About the business**

Our client is renowned for their technical capability and expertise in the field of heavy plant and equipment. From design to manufacture, distribution to parts, they work collaboratively with their clients to deliver.

**About the role**

This is not your typical Service Manager position.

With a dedicated team in place, this role will be heavily focused on improving business efficiencies, workload planning and developing exceptional client relationships. It will forge a collaborative approach with other areas of the business to ensure a singular focus on customer solutions. By improving the throughput of service activities and delivering quality outcomes, there will be a focus on identifying new business opportunities and growing the service function.

Ensuring your team is supported, empowered and trained to a high standard will ensure the company’s values and culture are upheld. Health & safety is at the forefront of everything they do.

**Skills and experience**
- Proven experience in an engineering management or leadership position with technical knowledge of heavy plant/ equipment.
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills to improve efficiencies and business performance.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to customer relationships, identifying future opportunities and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams while maintaining a critical eye on health and safety.
- Effective communication, analysis and reporting capabilities with a strong attention to detail.
- The ability to collaborate across business functions to contribute ideas and meet common goals.
