Our Pact Packaging division is pioneering a whole of product life cycle approach to sustainable packaging. Partnering with global brands to local dairy producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into everything we design and manufacture.

**About this opportunity**

The purpose of this role is to support the supply chain function at Pact Packaging NZ’s Hamilton Site. It involves providing assistance with procurement for the Engineering Team, managing pallet availability, handling customer service backup for both Food and Industrial Plants, and overseeing distribution center administration. This multifaceted role significantly contributes to the efficient functioning of the organization’s supply chain.

**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Ensure export shipping and air freight requirements are arranged to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Ensure import containers are managed and receipted into stock in line with site and MPI requirements.
- Provide Coupa “Buyer” support for the engineering team.
- Support tracking and reconciliation of pallets.
- Cover customer service functions to maintain service levels.

**Your skills and experience**

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- Experience in business administration, planning, or purchasing.
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Good administrative, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Great attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- A team player - happy to support others and work with internal and external project teams.
- Reliable and with good time management skills.

**Qualifications** Desirable**:

- Strong knowledge of MS Office & SAP
- Interest in manufacturing operations
- S&OP experience and forecasting
