Senior opportunity to work in a dynamic industry in the Waikato
- Seeking strong mechanical and electrical experience with EST licences
- Great Monday-Friday working hours 7.30am - 5pm : 45hrs
**The opportunity**
We are looking for an experienced Plant Engineer to work for a highly reputable manufacturing company based, in Hamilton. Our client has the latest technology in their custom built factory, on offer and the role has one direct report.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for efficiently operating, maintaining and optimising machinery and equipment within the manufacturing plant.

**What will you be doing?**
- Help plan and execute planned and preventative maintenance, spare part supply and contractor services.
- Design and build ancillary equipment, while troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
- Coordinate and work with external suppliers and contractors as required.
- Assist with a well organised maintenance spare parts store system.
- Collaborate with products teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation.
**What will you bring?**
- Electrical Services Technician (EST) licence.
- Ability to repair, troubleshoot and install equipment, gained in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of maintenance methods, processes and metrics.
- Excellent communication skills and lead from the front.
- Experience gained in a plastics, or composite environment would be advantageous.
