About us:

The Ministry for Regulation is a newly established small Government agency with a big job to do.

We're charged with improving the rules and regulations imposed by Government to make them more streamlined and easier for New Zealanders to navigate.

We are a small group of dedicated professionals, working in a 'can do' environment.

About the Role:

As a Team Coordinator, you will use your administration skills to support leaders and teams across the Ministry.

A typical day may include:

  • Diary management
  • Setting up and packing down a team workshop
  • Collating meeting material and agendas
  • Helping onboard a new starter
  • Plus whatever else we need an extra set of hands for

About you:

Have a look in the position description for further details about what we're looking for, but a couple of important points

  • You will need previous experience working in a general administration or personal assistant role
  • You'll need to have great attention to detail and an ability to use your initiative to help manage different priorities
  • You'll be a great relationshipbuilder, as you'll need to work across the whole Ministry (and with other agencies) to get things done
  • Ideally, you will have experience working within the Public Service
