This role is for someone who has strong administration and coordination skills to support the Tahatū Content Manager and Product Owner by helping manage workflow, planning, reporting and documentation.

This newly established role will give you exposure to the fast-moving world of a new and complex website.

About the Role


We're on the hunt for a Team Coordinator to join our Tahatū Content team and help us shape the future of TEC products and channels that will make a positive difference in the lives of New Zealanders.


  • Look after the flow of external feedback to make sure content issues are triaged in a backlog and actioned appropriately.
  • Support the Tahatū Product Owner with reporting, updating backlogs, preparing meeting documentation and coordinating workshops.
  • Support team members with procurement and vendor management (such as photography and video production) and other adhoc administrative tasks.
  • Respond to and resolve stakeholder enquires in a timely and appropriate manner. Make sure online information is updated as needed.
  • Use your good relationship skills to coordinate across multiple teams within the Products & Channels Group, as well as across the wider TEC.

What we are looking for:

This role requires someone who has experience working in a fast-paced environment with a high variety of work day-to-day. Ideally, we are seeking someone with 2-3 years of administration or coordination experience in this role.

You will bring the following:

  • Strong relationship management skills and experience in providing support across a variety of teams.
  • High levels of energy and initiative.
  • Attention to detail and ability to juggle tasks.
  • Knowledge of web tools such as Google Analytics and content and data management systems.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks by understanding the business needs or confidence to ask when unsure.
  • Can demonstrate willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

The salary range for this position starts from $63,492 up to $74,697 + 3% KiwiSaver, depending on demonstrable skills and experience.
