About the Role


The Chief Financial Officer will work in partnership with the CEO and the board to achieve the performance and strategic objectives of Hoppers and grow value for the business in a profitable and sustainable manner.


Integral to this will be providing leadership and vision across the Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Treasury/Bank Funding, Payroll, Insurance and administrative aspects of the business.


The role will work across the group and closely with the CEO in forecasting different business strategies to optimize funding, develop the finance strategy and annual budgets as well as monitoring and reporting on Company performance.


You will be a trusted advisor to the CEO providing guidance and leadership around financial management and reporting systems, capital allocation, project viability, risk management.

The role has a broad remit with variety and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Experience


The role requires a CA qualified senior finance leader with experience in the property development, construction or related sectors and a track record of managing high performing finance teams.


Experience working as a true partner to the CEO and Board in a dynamic market environment will be integral to success as will be the ability to cultivate strong relationships with external partners and suppliers.

Among the key competencies sought are high levels of financial acuity, an entrepreneurial, agile mindset and considerable strategic capability.


There is considerable capacity for the right person to build on a strong and sustainable platform and create a lasting impact on a business with significant longevity.
