**Tēnei tūranga - About this role**

You will be supporting Service Development, Deputy Chief Executive, you'll contribute to the overall leadership and performance of the business groups by providing high level professional executive support and advice.

The primary purpose of the role is to:

- Provide executive, business, administrative and secretarial support
- Ensure high level inbox and diary management, dealing with dairy conflicts and prioritising workflow
- Coordinating with other executive business support roles to best support the wider Leadership team
- Ensure effective management of activities and operations of the DCEs office
- Co-ordinating all administrative and business support matters.

This is a top tier business support role and as such the face of the directorate, you will walk alongside your DCE and role model, manaakitanga, kaitiakitanga and rangatiratanga. Your ability to strengthen relationships, influence and connect with others is pivotal to being successful in this role.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako - Skills and experience**
- 5+ years previous experience in an Executive Assistant role providing support to a senior executive and their team
- Demonstrated experience in a medium to large complex organisation, or other government agency
- Advanced skills in the MS Office Suite with special emphasis on Outlook, SharePoint & Microsoft Teams
- Excellent organisational skills along with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest levels of accuracy and confidentiality
- Be a great team player with a great sense of humor and aroha
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels, including with senior officials and with health sector leaders
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
- Proven experience in successfully developing and maintaining a structured approach to managing a wide range of stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
- Experience in leading projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Willingness to personally take a stand for equity and anti-racism
