The Role Includes

Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the company's goals.
  • Ensure Tradify leadership has visibility on performance to budget, flag risks and concerns early, and make recommendations if a course correction is required.
  • Manage the forecasting and planning processes for Tradify, including developing a longterm financial model to project performance into the future.
  • Ensure Tradify also has a robust quarterly forecasting process and review.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Lead financial operations including, accounting, budgeting, taxation and compliance ensuring Tradify has accurate and timely reporting of financial information and meets accounting standards. This will include multiple country entities.
  • Manage external vendors to support the above including for example auditors.
  • Provide regular financial reports, analysis and recommendations to the CEO enabling more informed budgetary decisionmaking.
  • Ensure Tradify has robust financial controls and risk management to safeguard the company's assets and ensure regulatory compliance, including foreign exchange, interest rate and credit risks.
  • Ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations, by overseeing the daytoday accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organisation.
  • Lead the development and use of bestpractice policies, practices, and tools that ensure a wellcontrolled yet flexible organisation with strong fiscal management, becoming a trusted business partner to the Chief of Staff and CEO.

Capital Management

  • Manage and optimise capital structure, cash flow, and working capital to support business growth and operational efficiency. This could include fundraising.
  • Partner with the CEO in evaluating investment opportunities, possible acquisitions and partnerships, conducting due diligence and assessing the potential impact on the company.
  • Comply with local financial requirements by being across existing and new legislation enforcing compliance and taking action where necessary.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Build and lead a highperforming finance team, fostering a collaborative and resultsoriented culture.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with leadership to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

What are we looking for?

  • A pragmatic and strategic finance leader ideally with 5+ years of experience leading a finance function for a growth business in the software industry
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving and decisionmaking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of SaaS metrics and subscription business fundamentals.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing highperforming teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field: MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Sound business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Run financial operations for a business with an international footprint.
  • Has managed a capital raise.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
