We are looking for a
Maintenance Manager to join our Engineering team

Job Description Your role will involve but is not limited to**:

  • Management of the hotel maintenance operation to ensure smooth running of the all hotel departments and guest rooms
  • Ensure Compliance standards are met in aspects of building, equipment, energy consumption, water, contractors, environmental and other brand programs.
  • Proactive in employee engagement and to manage and lead the Engineering Team
  • Ability to assist and plan for a major hotel refurbishment/projects
  • Be actively involved in the Hotels' Occupational Health & Safety and Emergency Response team.

Qualifications Skills and experience**- Previous experience in similar role would be preferred

  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as general building maintenance
  • High level of communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Eligible working rights in New Zealand
