**About the role**

Our team at Redvale Landfill & Energy Park in Dairy Flat, Auckland, has an opening for an experienced Workshop Supervisor. In this position, you will be responsible for the coordination of all heavy equipment and plant repairs and maintenance, as well as the daily supervision of our workshop team members.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Utilise Capital Asset Management (CAM) program to ensure timely and cost-effective preventative maintenance is carried out across vehicles, compactors and equipment maintaining them according to company policy and vendor recommended programmes.
- Monitor and manage the implementation of the preventative maintenance programme to ensure compliance.
- Manage the Team to ensure efficiency and quality of maintenance output; identify and address performance problems promptly and conduct annual performance reviews.
- Manage staffing hours and leave.
- Ensure all staff are clear on job requirements and have the required resources.
- Conduct technical inspections and associated reporting.
- Requisitioning repair parts and associated consumables.
- Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work.
- Continuously improve the job estimate, planning and scheduling.
- Maintain an inventory of all Workshop tooling and equipment.
- Assist the Operations and Regional Manager in the periodic analysis of cost trends with recommendations for continual improvement.

A mechanical aptitude, outstanding time management, effective written and verbal communication skills, computer skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are key to securing this opportunity.
