Office and Facilities Coordinator
Here's your chance to be the welcoming face of one of New Zealand's most beloved not-for-profit organisations. Starship Foundation is seeking a warm, proactive Office & Facilities Coordinator to help create a seamless experience for visitors, donors, and internal teams.
Starship Foundation exists to ensure every child in New Zealand has access to world-class healthcare regardless of their background or circumstances. As the first point of contact for many, you'll play a key role in supporting this mission with grace, professionalism, and heart.
This is a busy, people-facing role that blends reception with general office coordination. You'll welcome visitors and donors, manage bookings and meeting room setups, and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. From handling mail and couriers to supporting basic IT and building access, you'll be the steady presence that helps the team stay organised and focused.
The environment has a steady flow of visitors and varying room occupancy especially during peak seasons, so flexibility and a calm, can-do attitude are key
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Confidence to work independently and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong admin and coordination skills, with a proactive mindset
- MS Office proficiency and tech-savviness
- Full driver's licence preferred (for occasional vehicle coordination)
- Warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to contribute
If you're looking for a meaningful role where no two days are the same and where your contribution helps to make a difference for children across Aotearoa - Apply now. We'd love to hear from someone with heart, initiative, and a readiness to muck in.
If you are interested, please apply with your CV. You'll need to hold NZ Citizenship, residency, or have already secured a valid visa to apply for this role.
To ensure we can provide each candidate with a timely response given the current high volumes of applications, we do encourage you to apply directly through this ad. However, for additional queries about this role, please reach out to Sukhy Le Prieur on
At Emergent, we are committed to cultivating a workplace where diversity and collaboration thrive. Even if this role isn't an exact match, we encourage you to submit your application —there may be another opportunity that's the perfect fit for you.
