He angitūtanga: About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead business change initiatives that are enabled by both on-prem environments and modern cloud platforms. This is a particularly exciting time for Te Tumu Paeroa as we are delivering our Cloud Programme which is designed to enable even better development and outcomes for Whenua Māori and owners.

At the heart of this role is shaping clear objectives, managing scope, and delivering real benefits—all underpinned by strong governance. You'll champion clarity and collaboration every step of the way, ensuring projects succeed and make a lasting impact.

What you'll do:

  • Drive end-to-end project delivery using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Manage projects within the context of cloud transition, balancing legacy systems with new cloud solutions.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to different delivery approaches.

An experienced project leader who thrives on delivering results. Skilled in managing multiple initiatives, your strong grasp of technology enables you to engage confidently without being a technical expert.

  • Proven successful project management experience across diverse projects.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Highly adaptable, with the ability to work across varied project types and scopes.
  • Strong experience in project delivery across Waterfall and Agile frameworks.
  • Expertise in project management processes, documentation, and financial tracking.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, time, and budgets effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ArcGIS, Dynamics CRM, Business Central, SharePoint, and M365 is advantageous.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching project teams (preferred).
  • Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
