Territory Sales Manager

**About the Role**:
As a Territory Sales Manager based out of our Christchurch office, you will be selling materials handling equipment (forklifts) into the logistics, transport, warehousing, and manufacturing industries. Your key responsibility will be to sell new equipment within your designated region. You will be required to plan, strategize, and prioritise sales activities and customer prospects.
Relationship skills are critical, and you understand the value of providing exceptional and timely customer service through maintaining existing and cultivating new relationships. Your ability to cold call and open doors is essential and is tied to uncapped earnings.
Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks by Centra can support you with strong leadership, a well-regarded and respected aftermarket service department and arguably the broadest range of quality material’s handling equipment available.
**For you to succeed in this role**:
You will have:
- At least 3 years+ territory sales experience, preferably in materials handling equipment or any capital equipment
- Proven ability to plan and prioritise sales activities to close the deal
- Proven ability to build, develop and maintain trusting relationships with customers
- A good understanding of technology and be systems savvy
- An ability to think practically to work independently and create your own sales destiny
