Tridon is a well-respected and industry leader in the Automotive and Engineering sectors.

We are seeking an experienced Wholesale to Retail B2B Area Sales Manager for the South Island.

Due to a promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a result focused professional who has a strong appreciation for genuine relationships with our clients.

Ideally, you'll have experience within the automotive, engineering or hardware sectors with a consultative approach. Your strong drive and results-focus will ensure your success in this role.

This is a rare opportunity to join the sales team at Tridon. You will be representing great brands such as Tridon, Toledo, Sykes, Matson, Rennsteig and Bike Service.

About the role:

  • Develop and expand existing client relationships by identifying opportunities.
  • Set call cycle within a designated territory – South Island
  • Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers.
  • Collaborate with Area Sales Managers from different territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach

About you:

  • You live in Christchurch
  • 3+ years' experience in B2B as an Area or Territory Manager is essential
  • You will drive business growth through your territory in looking for new opportunities with existing and new customers
  • A relationship-builder by nature and enjoy being face to face with your customer base

  • You love to exceed expectations and can demonstrate sales achievements through your current/previous roles

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and self-motivated.

  • You are proactive, driven, and happy to work autonomously

  • Knowledgeable and confident with a range of automotive aftermarket products and hand tools
