**Description**:
We have an excellent opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our talented team on a permanent basis providing transformational and innovative initiatives to drive sales within your territory.

Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, you will be a key member in the National Field Sales team. You will be tasked to execute banner specific sales initiatives, deliver individual KPI’s and set targets across the defined territory.

With major in store focuses across four core categories (Grocery, Chilled, Produce and Service Deli), it is imperative that you are a strong communicator who builds and establishes long term commercial relationships. You will have exceptional sales planning & organisational skills and be effective in time and territory management.

**Responsibilities will include**:
Identify & develop new business opportunities in existing and new channels.
Manage sales and individual KPI’s through best practice approach to Field Planning, Execution, and Reporting.
Identify & develop new business opportunities in existing and new channels including but not restricted to Farro, Fruit World, Bidfood and independent customers whilst building sales foundations by keeping Core Brands healthy through best practice sales execution
Deliver business targets and execute category strategies through well planned customer analysis and strong engagement
Embed best practice planning, execution, and reporting through CRM planning platform (Insightful MOBI).
Negotiate pricing, volume incentives, off location opportunities, new product entries and shelf positioning with stores.
Monitor portfolio performance for each customer and implement plans to improve profitability and performance.
Build engagement with the head office team through frequent and active communication.

Skills and Experience

Experience as a Territory manager or Sales Representative role with an FMCG
Stakeholder management - understand various stakeholder needs and be creative in delivering sales solutions.
Commercial acumen - understand the various profit levers and actively use them to deliver the broader selling agenda.
Customer Management - build business through strong customer management skills and disciplines.
Negotiation - experienced negotiator who is adaptable to various levels and selling situations
Time management - prioritise time and adapt to customer, territory, merchandiser, and business requirements
Flexible with time, able and willing to attend to duties outside of traditional working hours including national sales meetings.
Self-starter & self-motivated business approach.
Able to stay away from home one night a fortnight
