Hybrid Work Model
**Job Description**:
As part of the team based at our Wiri office, this role reports to the Supply Chain Strategic Operations Manager. Your role will be to fulfil the “SAP Super User” role for Chep, supporting Supply Chain Business Processes as well as participating in the continuous improvement of the system.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Provide SAP support/training to Chep Agencies and Service Centres for both new and existing users
- Provide SAP and inventory control assistance to the business as required, including assisting with SOPs, improving processes and documentation
- Assist Finance by providing end of month journals for Agencies and auditing business processes
- Co-ordinate the National Statutory Stock takes and ensure that deadlines are met, and variances are investigated and explained
- Maintain and monitor Supply Chain metrics to ensure tasks are completed in accordance with requirements
- Review invoices against production records, verify the information and rates
- Process the invoices and ensure payments are made in a timely manner
- Manage the raw material order process goods and services and back-up Regional Coordinators when required
- Develop test protocols for SAP and test system up-grades
- Run a continuous improvement program with service centre leaders and teams, identifying improvement opportunities and innovation which simplifies, closes gaps and improves overall efficiency.
- Experience in a logistics environment and working with ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of and experience with SAP, ideally as a supply chain Super User, or you might be experienced user of SAP with a keen interest in developing as a Super User role
- Strong communication skills with an ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of people
- Great negotiation and influencing skills
- Exceptional self organisation skills and strong attention to detail, with systematic and timely follow-through
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and operate well under pressure
