An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional and experienced Executive Assistant to support our Regional Executive Director, based across our Unitec and MIT Tamaki campuses. As the face (and oftentimes the voice) of the office of the Regional Executive, you will be the key point of contact for the day-to-day coordination and management of activities in this space. This truly is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same, and you will need to be able to keep up **Your overall responsibilities include**: - Creating a positive, engaging customer experience for those who interact with the Regional Executive Director office - Meeting and greeting a wide range of visitors to the office including students, staff, employers and VIPs - High level business support, coordination and project management. - Diary management - Development, production and analysis of business reports - Research and information gathering to support and enhance the activities of the Regional Executive Director - Managing budgets The incumbent will have a strong customer focus, be able to think on their feet and make decisions and work within a busy, multi-tasking environment, with experience in: - Previously supporting senior executives|CEO and working with confidential information - Working with a wide range of staff to deliver desired results in way that is mana enhancing - Preparation of reports and presentations and record management - Writing, editing letters, reports and memos, where thoughts and ideas are well ordered and easily understood - Reading, reviewing numerical information - Managing communications and expectations with diplomacy, professionalism and confidentiality - Using Microsoft Office software specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint Because of the fast-paced and varied nature of the role, confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities and a strong attention to detail is essential. So is a mature outlook, a cool and calm demeanour, and a good sense of humour You will need to possess a strong command of the English Language, both written and verbal, and a high degree of computer literacy, with first-class digital record management skills.
