Role Description

This is a unique opportunity to join the University of Canterbury's senior leadership team as a Personal Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support, including managing complex calendars, taking accurate minutes, and maintaining confidentiality.

About the Position

The Vice-Chancellor has responsibility for the overall leadership of the University, reporting to the University Council. You will report to the Administrative Team Leader and work closely with a member of the senior leadership team and the administration team.

Your Skills and Experience

  • 4 years' experience in a senior administrative or personal assistant role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
