SHARE provides clients throughout New Zealand with financial advice on Insurance, Mortgages and Investments (incl. KiwiSaver).

We have experienced solid growth over more than a decade and we are poised to take advantage of further growth opportunities as the regulatory environment for the Financial Services industry evolves. The leadership team is energetic and ambitious and wants to continue to build a group of financial advisers with a similar outlook.

This is a sole charge position but with access to other SHARE personal assistants and staff members who are happy to share ideas/problem solve and help each other out.

The Role

The role directly assists one life/health, KiwiSaver and investment adviser. Responsibilities include:

  • Communicate with insurance (life/health) and investment (incl. KiwiSaver) providers;
  • Taking client calls/instructions
  • Process financial services applications to product providers for clients
  • Assist with Claims administration
  • General Office Administration
  • MYOB (including GST and PAYE returns)

Skills/Experience

Previous experience working for an insurance or investment adviser would be advantageous.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Good phone manner
  • High level of accuracy and detail with a conscientious approach to work
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A quick and alert mind with the ability to focus, adapt and be flexible.
  • Confident computer skills and be able to pick up new systems easily.
  • Must be confident in taking instructions from the adviser and then attending to these unsupervised.
  • Must also be confident in dealing with client/insurance co./investment co. queries. This includes sourcing information (e.g. medical & financial information/policy arrears).

Sole charge with the ability to structure your own day within the workflow.

All those in the network have a considerable amount of experience and are happy to share their knowledge.

The role offers some flexibility around working hours and days.
