**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced wellbeing support coordinator to join our team in the Waiariki region. In this role, you will work with primary and intermediate schools to deliver early intervention health and wellbeing guidance, support, and services.

**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced wellbeing support coordinator to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. As a wellbeing support coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-informed wellbeing programmes and interventions that meet the needs of diverse communities.

You will work closely with school staff, whānau, and community agencies to provide holistic support to tamariki and their families. You will also contribute to the development of culturally responsive and effective wellbeing strategies that meet the needs of diverse communities.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Deliver early intervention health and wellbeing guidance, support, and services to primary and intermediate schools in the Waiariki region.

* Work closely with school staff, whānau, and community agencies to provide holistic support to tamariki and their families.

* Develop and implement evidence-informed wellbeing programmes and interventions that meet the needs of diverse communities.

* Contribute to the development of culturally responsive and effective wellbeing strategies.

* Report to the Clinical Team Leader.

**Requirements**

* A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all actions.

* Phenomenal relationship skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

* A full driver's license.

* Fluency in Te Reo is required if your preference is to work with Kaupapa Maori Kura.

* An experienced health professional with current registration in Nursing, Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or related field.

* Well-experienced in working with community, tamariki, and whānau.

* Adaptable and able to pivot within a rapidly changing environment.
