Wellbeing Support Professional

About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Wellbeing Support Professional to join our community outreach program. This role involves providing early interventional health and wellbeing guidance, support and service within Primary and Intermediate Schools and Kaupapa Māori Kura.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-informed individual, group and whole-of-class wellbeing programs/interventions for tamariki.
- Provide broader wellbeing cluster support to kura and schools.
- Work collaboratively with education and health services to achieve shared goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with tamariki, whānau and community stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions. This includes an understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the ability to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way in this role.
You should also possess phenomenal relationship skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. A full driver's license is required, and fluency in Te Reo is preferred if working with Kaupapa Maori Kura.
