About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive business growth and pipeline development. The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 years of experience in business development in New Zealand, with strong skills in project management and sales, and a proven ability to understand and engage with people effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Activity: Conduct outbound phone calls/telemarketing and hold quality conversations with prospects and customers to identify new business opportunities and drive pipeline growth.
  2. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and meeting business objectives by leveraging Salesforce to track customer interactions, manage leads, and analyze sales performance.
  3. Pipeline Development: Identify new business opportunities and drive pipeline growth through strategic planning and execution by working closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and maximize business outcomes.
  4. Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions by conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities that align with business goals.

Requirements

  • Proven Project Management Skills: Demonstrate a proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Strong Salesforce Skills: Showcase expertise in using Salesforce or similar CRM systems to track customer interactions, manage leads, and analyze sales performance.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong customer relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Business Development Experience: Bring approximately 5 years of experience in business development or a related field in New Zealand, with a proven track record of driving pipeline growth and conversion into sales.
