About the Role

We are seeking a Transformational Programme Leader to join our team at the Department Of Corrections NZ. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the strategic asset management elements of the Capital Programme efficiently.

As a Strategic Asset Management Expert, you will utilise your project management and stakeholder engagement skills to lead bespoke project teams and proactively manage key project stakeholder relationships.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, proven negotiation experience, and the ability to influence and build consensus across various internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage key project stakeholder relationships
  • Lead bespoke project teams
  • Deliver projects to achieve desired outcomes to budget and within required timeframe
  • Build rapport with internal and external stakeholders, including technical teams and suppliers
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in skilfully identifying risks and issues, and successfully implementing plans to resolve these to ensure project delivery
  • Experience within P3 M3, change, benefits framework and drafting investment cases
  • A proactive approach: Understand and apply best practice project management processes, methods, techniques, and tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to act as an editor for reports and business cases
  • Excellent organisational skills and drive
