Job Overview

The Regional Sales Development Manager will play a key role in driving business growth for JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS in the Southland/Otago Region. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Field Sales and Business Growth Specialist, where you will be responsible for capturing business opportunities, maximizing product exposure, and forging strong business relationships to continue and improve company growth.

In this role, you will manage a territory of retail customers/stores within the Southland/Otago Region, developing and implementing sales strategies to deliver AOP sales targets. You will utilize banner insights and store-level data to conduct store performance reviews, identifying opportunities for growth and agreeing on action plans to implement.

You will also collaborate with the grocery key account team to drive promotional and shopper activities at stores, providing in-market feedback and insights. Additionally, you will introduce new products into stores, coordinate launch calendars, and ensure smooth distribution, driving MSL (Must Stock List).

Your focus will be on monitoring and ensuring shelf compliance while growing JDE share of shelf where appropriate. Furthermore, you will lead and manage a small team of Merchandisers and third-party contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
