About the Job: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Specialist to join our ANZ team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue for Canonical in the ANZ region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Sales: Identify, prospect, and engage reseller and distributor partners to build and maintain relationships and grow Canonical's business within the assigned territory.
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a channel strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Awareness and Education: Increase awareness of Canonical as a lead player in Open Source and Cloud (Private, Hybrid, Multi, and Public models).
  • Business Development: Identify and recruit new potential partners in assigned territory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's level degree, preferably in a technology field.
  • Software or Technology Sales Experience: Experience in software or technology sales from the specified market.
  • English Fluency: Fluency in English.
  • Open Source Knowledge: An understanding of open source, Linux and Ubuntu.
  • Sales Track Record: A self-starter with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Interpersonal and Presentation Skills: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiating skills with ability to close sales.
  • Teamwork and Self-Discipline: Productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation.
  • Relationship Development: Mature approach to long-term relationship development with customers.
  • Event Representation: The ability to represent the company at external events.
